Loire-Valley Château with 2 gîtes (houses)

A little south of Orléans, 400 meters from the river Loire, you will find le Clos de Bel Air. It is not far away from châteaux like Chambord, Blois, Cheverny and a little further Chenenceau, Amboise. But there are also very interesting châteaux close by but not as famous yet, like Talcy, La Ferté Saint Auban. There are also museums to visit and the old citys like Orléans, Beaugency, Blois. The Forest d'Orléans is since the middle ages the hunting ground for the French Kings. You can have wonderful walks there and of course cycle along the river Loire.

There is also a possibility to rent a reception hall, but this is only done in combination with renting the holiday houses.

Accomodation

There is an 8- and a 6 persons house, or gîte as the french say.

The 6 person house has a kitchen, dining- and sitting room with satelite TV, DVD-player and internet-connection and a bathroom with toilet on the groundfloor. On the secondfloor are 3 bedrooms. One with a double bed, one with 3 singlebeds and one with a single bed. A bathroom with bath and shower, a seperate toilet.

The 8-person house has a kitchen/diningroom, a sittingroom with a sofabed, a satelite TV, DVD-player and internet-connection. A double-bedroom and a bathroom plus WC on the groundfloor. On the first floor is are three 2-person bedrooms with single beds and another bathroom with massage-shower and a toilet.

Both gîtes have a terras with tables and chairs in front of their kitchen.

Prices are per week apartment and not per person. Bedlinen, electricity, etc. are included, but no towels. Normal changeoverday is saturday, but the owners are willing to consider any other day.
